Monthly Meetings

Meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of each month (except July, August and December) at 10am; at 2565 Roosevelt Drive, Halifax, NS.

The Art of Making PillsMarch 2024 - New Health Sciences Display: The Art of Making Pills.

This display is located at the Sir Charles Tupper Medical Building, Dalhousie University, just outside the W.K. Kellogg Health Sciences Library. It features pharmacy artifacts used in pill making, such as a pill roller, a pill tile, a pill finisher and a pill rounder, as well as patent medicines in pill form. Display prepared by Mary MacCara and Rita Caldwell with assistance from the Dalhousie Medical Alumni Association. Artifacts on loan from the Dr. J. Gordon Duff Pharmacy Museum, College of Pharmacy, Dalhousie University.

April 2023 – Health Sciences Displays

Platinum Jubilee Medals

Congratulations to board members Susan French and Iris Shea. They were recently awarded  Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medals to recognize their significant contributions and achievements.
