Welcome to the Nova Scotia Museum of Health Care

The Association of Health Sciences Archives and Museums of Nova Scotia (AHSAMNS) gathers, preserves and promotes Nova Scotia’s health care history.  Our vision is to operate a health care museum where historical artifacts and archival documents will be displayed, protected and enjoyed.  We want to increase knowledge of Nova Scotia’s health sciences’ history and provide educational opportunities and resources for students, researchers and the public.

Our organization began with nursing and medicine, then added pharmacy and dentistry.  We encourage all the health sciences to join with us and be part of our endeavors.
